Relatable Counseling

Therapy grounded in human connection, guided by a relational therapist.

I’m happy you’re here.

I specialize in working with teens, college students, and young adults who are struggling to connect with their authentic selves. My client’s often present with relational conflicts, low self-worth, anxiety, or attachment trauma. My psychodynamic approach allows us to go beyond quick fixes, and dive deeper into the root causes of what might be limiting your personal growth and causing emotional distress.

I offer both telehealth and in person sessions for folks living in Massachusetts.

Specialities

  • Relational conflict can leave us feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or questioning our own needs and boundaries. I support individuals who are navigating conflict in their close relationships - whether with a partner, family member, or friend. Together, we will explore the emotional patterns, attachment dynamics, and communication styles that may be contributing to painful or confusing relationship experiences.

  • The way we relate to ourselves and others is deeply shaped by our earliest relationships. I help clients explore and understand the emotional triggers that often stem from these early attachment wounds. Together, we will uncover the deep root causes of emotional pain, build self-regulation tools, and develop secure internal and external relationships.

  • Dear fellow anxious friend, you do not need to have it all figured out! Many of us who struggle with anxiety tend to overthink or intellectualize our experiences. While this can feel like a way to stay in control, it often distances us from our actual emotions and needs. I support clients in fostering a more compassionate and empowered relationship with themselves. Together, we will work to develop practical tools to manage stress, reduce self-criticism, and build healthier, more balanced ways of living.

  • In a world full of expectations about how men “should” be, it’s easy to feel isolated, stuck, or unsure of how to express your true self. I support young men who are ready to explore their mental health, challenge both new and old expectations, and live with greater authenticity. My work is rooted in the belief that vulnerability is not a weakness, and expressions of masculinity are not toxic.

My approach to therapy

Relational-Based Therapy

Relational therapy is based on the understanding that relationships are central to psychological well being and that healing happens through connection. It focuses on how early attachment experiences and relational patterns influence a person’s current relationships, including the therapeutic relationship itself. The therapeutic relationship between therapist and client is used as a model for healthy, authentic connection. Patterns that show up in the client’s outside relationships often surface in the therapy space.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy emphasizes the exploration of unconscious processes and past experiences, particularly those from early childhood, and their influence on present thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This approach seeks to uncover and bring to conscious awareness the underlying psychological patterns and unresolved conflicts that may contribute to an individual’s emotional distress and relational difficulties.
